Schuyler Moore

Profile

Schuyler Moore is currently the Director of Science & Technology (S&T) on the staff of the Defense Innovation Board (DIB). Her portfolio includes 5G, microelectronics, cybersecurity, biotechnology, and artificial intelligence. Schuyler is also on the Board of Directors for Your Professionals in Foreign Policy and is the co-lead for Truman National Security Project’s Defense & Industry Working Group. She regularly provides her expertise to a number of panels, podcasts, and projects on topics related to national security and technology. Prior to this, Schuyler was a Senior Analyst at an aerospace & consulting firm, with a special focus on defense budget forecasting and emerging technology market entry strategies. Schuyler has previous experience working at the US Embassy in Rome and the Marshall Center in Garmisch. She also taught at a women’s boarding school in Kabul, Afghanistan in 2013 and continued to remotely tutor and mentor her students until 2018. Schuyler has published multiple articles on a broad range of security issues in publications including The Diplomat, The National Interest, Strategy Bridge, and RealClearDefense. Schuyler holds a Master of Arts degree in Technology & Security from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from Harvard University.
