Profile

Colonel Lauren A. Courchaine is the Commander of the 67th Cyberspace Operations Group. In this position she leads Airmen operating across the cyberspace and intelligence enterprise to plan and execute cyberspace effects operations in support of Combatant Command requirements and Global Information Warfare Campaign plans. She supports the Commanders of the 67th Cyberspace Wing and 16th Air Force by leveraging the cognitive agility of her Airmen and innovative technologies to enable traditional and sensitive plans and cyberspace operations. Additionally, Colonel Courchaine is responsible for providing advice on the presentation of Cyberspace Mission Force Airmen in support of operations and maneuver in the information environment.

Colonel Courchaine is a 2000 graduate of the United States Air Force Academy. She has served in various leadership roles to include squadron, group, Air Staff, Major Command, Combatant Command and Joint Staff. Colonel Courchaine has also deployed three times in support of Operations IRAQI FREEDOM and ENDURING FREEDOM. Prior to her current assignment, she was the Chief of the Special Projects and Innovation Division under the Directorate for Global Operations on the Joint Staff. Colonel Courchaine is married to Captain Brian Courchaine, United States Navy Reserve and they have two children, Cooper (8) and Oliver (6).
