Mr. Ottis B. Grim III is Chief for the Joint Force Headquarters - Department of Defense Information Network (JFHQ-DODIN), Readiness & Security Inspections, Command Cyber Readiness Inspection (CCRI) Branch. In this role, he oversees the CCRI and Command Cyber Operational Readiness Inspection (CCORI) based on Department of Defense (DoD), United States Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM), and JFHQ-DODIN Directives as well as DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) containing DoD baseline system hardening standards.
Mr. Grim has over 20 years of IT experience beginning with the United States Marine Corps. He has served in a variety of system administrator roles and as an Information System Security Manager (ISSM) for multiple information systems. Within JFHQ-DODIN, Mr. Grim has held previous roles as a Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP), Command Cyber Readiness Inspection (CCRI), and Command Cyber Operational Readiness Inspection (CCORI) team lead.
Mr. Grim graduated from Central Pennsylvania College, Summa Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology minoring in Network Management. He holds certifications in ISC2 CISSP; ITIL Foundations; GIAC Penetration Tester (GPEN); CompTIA CySA+.
