Profile
Ms. Linnea Fransen has served the Department of Defense in both military and civilian capacity. Her experience includes operations and planning, telecommunications, research and development, and cybersecurity. Currently working in the Operations Directorate, Mission Assurance Division at U.S Cyber Command, Ms. Fransen leads the Cyberspace Operations Support Branch with focus on mission assurance and cyber readiness inspections of the Department of Defense Information Network (DODIN).
Working closely with DoD Components to improve the cybersecurity of the Department’s critical missions, Ms. Fransen and her team have published operational guidance to identify mission relevant terrain in cyberspace, adapted the inspection program to address changes to the DODIN, and are developing a process by which mission owners can improve their cyber situational awareness to better defend critical missions.
Ms. Fransen is a lifetime member of AFCEA.
