Description
Defense Enterprise Office Solution (DEOS) is a DoD-wide single enterprise solution for common communication, collaboration and productivity. It is a commercially provided cloud-based enterprise service that seamlessly integrates multiple capabilities to include: Email, Content Management, Web Conferencing, Native Audio, Native Video, Chat and Office Productivity tools.
In addition to DEOS, DISA is also developing an IL5 enduring capability for Fourth Estate Agencies and Combatant Commands (CCMDs) named DoD365. DoD365 IL5 will be standing up on or before Nov, 2020, with large-scale migrations expected to begin in December, 2020. DoD365 IL5 will become a part of the DEOS contract once awarded in late Fall 2020. DoD 365 IS NOT the cancellation of the DEOS program nor does it replace DEOS; DoD365 IL5 is the acceleration of DEOS. The DEOS program will continue to pursue larger enterprise goals of interoperability, security, SIPRNet services, records management, and overseas presence for MS365.
The audience will learn about the scope and functionality of DEOS, the technical and functional capabilities of DoD365 and the phased IOC capabilities and timelines relative to the DoD365 tenant.
