Notice Regarding COVID-19
March 31, 2020 -- AFCEA TechNet Cyber 2020 Postponed
AFCEA International continues to closely follow developments regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19). At this time of unprecedented global challenge and concern, the health and safety of our event participants, partners, volunteers, members, and staff are our highest priority.
After careful consideration, and in light of recent executive actions by the leaders of Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia, we will be postponing TechNet Cyber 2020. Rescheduling the event will enable us to provide the experience that the AFCEA community expects and deserves in a safe environment. We are working on identifying dates later in 2020 and will communicate with you when more concrete information is available. Your exhibit, sponsorship, registration, and official housing block arrangements will automatically transfer to the rescheduled event.
We expect to announce a new date and related details by April 10, 2020. If you have any questions, please refer to the event’s “Contact Us” page with specific contact information for registrants, exhibitors, or sponsors, or our Customer Service Center at (703) 631-6158, (800) 336-4583, or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Though, like most organizations, AFCEA International employees across all departments are working from remote locations, we are fully prepared to maintain 100 percent operational capabilities while working remotely.

Show up on time! Make sure you know the conference hours.
Make sure you to send members of your organization who are familiar with your featured products. Booth personnel should be personable, engaging, and ready to field any questions about your company’s featured products and solutions.
Have an elevator speech ready to quickly and accurately communicate your company's mission and branding. Focus on what your organizational goals are, followed by what goods, services, and/or solutions your company can offer.
Be present, focused, and engaged - this is one of your best chances to generate new business this year, with attendees who are looking to buy your solutions!
Keep your booth organized; a messy booth seems uninviting and reflects poorly on your organization.
Don't forget to have your shipping labels ready.

Also, be aware companies other than TechNet Cyber 2020 Official Hotels may contact you and indicate that they are affiliated with TechNet Cyber 2020 and claim to offer hotels at 'reduced' rates. These companies are not affiliated in any way with AFCEA and it is highly recommended that you do not use their services.
