Profile
John Morgan is a senior executive at IBM Consulting and leads IBM’s strategy, growth sales teams across the Defense and Intelligence (DandI) portfolio. Prior to moving over to the DandI account he was the Co-Leader to the IBM Army Account—where he was primarily responsible for all business operations, plans and the strategic growth of the Army consulting account. Prior to joining IBM, he worked at Northrop Grumman Defense Systems directing strategic planning and senior client/customer engagement. Lieutenant General (R) John W. Morgan III retired from the US Army in August 2013. In his final assignment he served in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) as the Commander of Allied (Land) Force Command-Heidelberg. He is a strategic leader, thinker and operator known for establishing direction, inspiring and motivating stakeholders behind a larger Enterprise purpose. Mr. Morgan is an accomplished leader with success across a broad spectrum of military operations and strategy, inter-agency disciplines, policy development and business. He is proven in directing the performance of multi-million-dollar programs, budgets and financial management for large organizations and operations. LTG (R) Morgan is an expert in national security strategy and policy formulation, business operations and supply chain management.
