Travis Steele

Profile
Travis Steele serves as a Chief Architect and thought leader within the global office of the CTO at Red Hat, Inc. He supports customers as a primary interface with mission & technology leaders in the community advocating for the warfighting needs of the DoD and their mission partners within Red Hat’s products and global engineering division. For more than two decades, Travis has led enterprise IT services and operations, command & control, and situational awareness efforts within defense agencies and commercial industry. At the Hertz corporation, he led global applications & IT services driving several worldwide digital transformation and system modernization efforts. Prior to joining Red Hat, he served in senior technical and leadership roles within the systems integrator community, maintaining a focus on government mission requirements. Travis is a proud veteran of the United States Navy, a graduate of The Wharton School of Business Executive Leadership program, and holds dual master’s degrees in business administration and information technology.
