Chief Master Sergeant John R. Phiasiripanyo is the Senior Enlisted Leader for the Director of Operations, Defense Information Systems Agency, Fort Meade, MD. He serves as the enlisted advisor on all matters relating to the morale, welfare, quality of life, readiness, effective utilization, professional development, and force structure for over 8,000 Joint-Service military, civilian, and contractor personnel at 53 global locations including 12 field office commands in 8 countries and 11 states. He provides, coordinates, and synchronizes capabilities and services that are always available, reliable, and secure in support of the DoD Information Network (DoDIN).
Chief Master Sergeant Phiasiripanyo entered the Air Force in September 1995. He graduated from Telephone Systems Apprentice course at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas in 1995. His background includes various duties within the Cyberspace support career field to include Assistant 3D1 Functional Manager, Headquarters AF Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Agency, Network Operations Security Center Operations Controller, and superintendent positions at multiple squadrons and flight levels. His training took him to assignments in Turkey, Guam, Japan, Hawaii, and Texas. Chief Phiasiripanyo has deployed in support of Operations NOBLE ANVIL, SOUTHERN WATCH, ENDURING FREEDOM and IRAQI FREEDOM.
Prior to assuming his current position, Chief Phiasiripanyo served as the Senior Enlisted
Leader, Operations Directorate, Joint Force Headquarters-Department of Defense Information
Networks (JFHQ-DODIN), Fort George Meade, Maryland.
