Mr. Stephen A. Moitoso currently serves as a Team Lead within the Joint Force Headquarters - Department of Defense Information Network (JFHQ-DODIN), Readiness & Security Inspections Directorate (DRSI). In this position, he is DRSI’s Operational Planning Branch’s Team Lead for Inspection Plans. Mr. Moitoso coordinates and synchronizes DODIN Inspections with the Department of Defense and Federal Mission partners to ensure the successful inspection execution used to determine the DODIN’s Defensive Cyberspace Operation – Internal Defensive Measures (DCO-IDM) Effectiveness.
Before joining JFHQ-DODIN, Mr. Moitoso served 22 years in the United States Air Force as a Tech Controller, supported the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) for three years as a Customer Advocacy Manager and contract lead for the Department of Defense Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) efforts, and ten years with USCYBERCOM J36 in support of the Joint Information Environment (JIE) initiative, the Joint Regional Security Stack (JRSS) implementation, and the Command Cyber Readiness Inspection 2.0 transition.
