Unlock Your Voice at FedID 2025: Join the Poster Sessions!

In 2025, FedID is doubling down on its mission to bridge federal and nonfederal expertise, sparking transformative 1:1 conversations that shape the future of identity management. To make this happen, we’re thrilled to host two dynamic poster sessions—a unique platform for identity innovators like you to share cutting-edge insights with federal decision-makers. This is your chance to influence the government’s toughest identity challenges, connect with new collaborators, and showcase your expertise in a strategic, high-impact setting.

What's in Store?

Held at dedicated time on two different days, each session features distinct topical categories with space for multiple posters per category. Slots are first-come, first-served—secure yours early! Here’s how it works:

  • A Light Touch Review: The FedID Planning Committee will ensure posters align with our 2025 objectives—learning from nonfederal pioneers and sparking meaningful dialogue. Off-topic submissions will be gently sidelined.
  • One Poster Per Session: Each entity gets one slot per session (two total possible). If slots remain as September nears, we’ll open the floor for more—stay tuned!
  • Small Fee, Big Reach: A modest fee covers printing, logistics, and facilities, ensuring your ideas shine in a professional setting.
  • Strategic, Not Salesy: Think of this as a conversation starter, not a product pitch—your opportunity to frame the narrative and inspire action.

Session Breakdown

Category 1: Technology Focus (September 23rd)

Federal agencies are eager to explore what’s next in identity tech—and they’re looking to you. Share your insights on emerging tools, challenges, and what’s needed to fast-track adoption. Topics include:

  • AI and Identity: We’re looking for innovations in AI-driven identity verification to enhance accuracy and detect fraud, automation of identity lifecycle management to streamline processes, and anomaly detection to enhance security in real-time identity management.
  • Biometric Technologies: Showcase advancements in contactless biometric systems, like face recognition at scale, to boost throughput in federal screening while maintaining accuracy. Discuss how multi-modal biometrics can integrate seamlessly with existing infrastructure to strengthen authentication without adding complexity.
  • Biographic Technologies: We seek technologies for automated verification of identity documents to cut processing times and detect forgeries, secure systems for sharing biographic data across agencies, and solutions for remote identity proofing, especially for digital services.
  • Physical & Logical Credentials: Introduce mobile credential innovations that allow federal employees and citizens to authenticate on-the-go, prioritizing convenience and scalability. Discuss efforts to standardize digital credentials across platforms, reducing costs and accelerating deployment for government-wide use.
  • Deepfakes & Adversarial Attacks: Offer practical detection methods for identifying synthetic identity threats, such as deepfake-resistant verification systems, to protect federal operations. Provide insights on building robust identity systems that withstand adversarial attacks, focusing on operational resilience over speculative concerns.
Category 2: Operational Focus (September 24th)

Lessons from the field are gold. Feds want your real-world takeaways from identity pilots or operations—successes, hurdles, and opportunities to scale. Topics include:

  • Military: Detail secure access control in military facilities using identity technologies, discuss interoperability challenges in joint operations, and share innovations for tactical environments.
  • Economic: Present identity verification successes in digital financial systems, like benefit disbursements, that cut fraud and boost delivery speed without added bureaucracy. Explore partnerships with private entities to streamline economic identity processes, showcasing cost savings and efficiency gains.
  • Healthcare: Present insights for accurate patient identification across providers to reduce medical errors, identity solutions for secure access to health records, and methods for authenticating identities in telemedicine to enhance access without complicating workflows.
  • Justice: Highlight biometric tools that have accelerated suspect identification in law enforcement, emphasizing time saved and case resolution rates. Discuss integrated identity management in corrections, such as tracking offenders across facilities, with a focus on operational effectiveness.
  • Border/Immigration: Share experiences with automated border control systems like e-gates and their impact on security and efficiency, challenges in international data sharing, and the effectiveness of biometric watchlist screening.
