Profile
Col Jason N. Schramm is the Deputy Commander of U.S.
Space Forces - Indo-Pacific, headquartered at Hickam Air
Force Base, Hawaii. In this role he supports the Commander
in planning and executing integrated and synchronized joint,
allied, and partner space operations to protect and defend
U.S. interests in the Indo-Pacific region.
Col Schramm was commissioned through the Air Force
Reserve Officer Training Corps at the University of Notre
Dame in 1998. His career includes ICBM and space
operational assignments in the satellite command and
control, theater support, and training mission areas. He
also served in a variety of staff assignments at the NAF,
MAJCOM, Combatant Command, and Joint Staff levels,
and deployed twice to the Middle East in support of OEF
and OIF. He has commanded at both the Squadron and
Delta levels. Prior to his current assignment, Col Schramm
was Commander, Space Delta 1, Vandenberg Space
Force Base, California, where he led 5 squadrons
executing Space Force basic training, initial skills training
for space, cyber, and intelligence Guardians, various
advanced training courses, the Space Force Weapons
School, and all USSF exercises.
