Profile

Tamara Greenspan serves as the chair of AFCEA International’s Board of Directors, a past vice chair of the board and a past president of AFCEA’s Northern Virginia Chapter.

A focused, results-oriented business executive with more than 30 years in the U.S. public sector, Ms. Greenspan also serves as the Group vice president and general manager, Oracle Federal and Canadian Public Sector Applications, responsible for a team of account executives, solution engineers and business development leaders who deliver software solutions for complex business problems. The team assists the federal government, the International Agency community and Canadian Public Sector with its digital transformation to realize greater business value through the adoption of the Oracle Cloud in areas including ERP, SCM, EPM and HCM. She is successful in building high-performing sales teams, delivering year-over-year revenue and is responsible for executing go-to-market strategies, ensuring customer success and delivering growth across all existing and new product lines.

Ms. Greenspan joined Oracle in 1989 and has held various sales and management positions within public sector. She has received numerous performance awards for achievement, including Oracle’s prestigious Leadership 2000 award chosen by her peers for sustained superior management and leadership success, the Women in AFCEA Appreciation Award, Gen. James M. Rockwell AFCEAN of the Year. She is the community leader for the Oracle Women’s Leadership (OWL) organization for the Washington, D.C.-area and was awarded the 2014 Oracle Woman’s leadership award, which recognizes exemplary leaders who significantly contribute to Oracle’s business results, model Oracle’s leadership attributes and demonstrate support of OWL’s global mission. She currently serves on the AFCEA International Executive Committee, Homeland Security Defense Business Council Board of Directors and is a board member of the Institute for Excellence in Sales (IES) Women in Sales Advisory Board.

Ms. Greenspan received her Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Bucknell University. She enjoys her book club, spending free time with her family at the beach, and helping those in need. She and her husband started a charity in 2000, KINDH (Kids In Need During Holidays), a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit that helps low income families by providing gifts and food during the holidays.
