Imran Umar is a Principal cyber solution architect that spearheads Zero Trust initiatives across Booz Allen in support of DoD, Federal Civilian and Intelligence community.
In this role, Imran provides technical solution that enable organizations move towards a resilient Zero Trust architecture by applying unique tradecraft to determine their current Zero Trust maturity status, identifying key gaps in their architecture and developing tailored solutions to transition them towards a data centric security model the enforces least privileged access. Imran works to advance the adoption and fusion of concepts such as zero trust, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to improve cyber resiliency at an enterprise scale. He specializes in advanced Zero Trust concepts such as secure conditional access, and data centric architecture
He is currently leading a team of cyber security analyst, conducting Zero Trust maturity assessment for large enterprises and the technical lead overseeing DISA Thunderdome driving a transition towards Zero Trust
