Profile
Julius “JC” Caesar supports NetApp’s US Public Sector in data strategy and business development for the Department of Defense & NATO. JC works closely with the Vice President, USPS, Vice President, Government Relations, Regional Managers, District Managers, Account Leads, CTO, and federal systems integrators (FSIs) and partners in translating complex customer requirements into innovative cloud, artificial intelligence, cyber, data management software and data storage solutions.
He has a distinguished career in the military and industry. JC served on active duty and US Navy Reserve for 34 years as a career Surface Warfare Officer retiring as a Rear Admiral. In industry, JC has served in positions of increased responsibility in privately held information technology firms where he delivered increased revenue and earnings.
Caesar graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy and received the US Naval Academy Alumni Association Distinguished Graduate Award. He earned a Master of Business Administration from The College of William & Mary. He is a Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Seminar XXI Fellow in Foreign Politics, International Relations, and the National Interest. JC is a National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) Governance Fellow. A decorated military veteran, he was also awarded the Blacks in Government Meritorious Service Award.
