In this session, we’re focusing on the practical uses of emerging, disruptive, and exponential technologies found in today’s IT environments. CompTIA’s Chief Technology Evangelist, Dr. James Stanger, has invited guests from Zscaler, Haiku Inc., Western Governors University (WGU), Snowflake, and Tenable. Together, we will investigate deployments of these technologies in asymmetric, multi-domain environments. We will also discuss how the top organizations educate their workers to use these technologies in the best possible way.

The discussion will focus on practical solutions that mission-centered military and private sector industries are adopting. We will discuss how today’s environment includes increasingly unique combinations of legacy and cutting-edge technologies, and the implications of these combinations. Exponential technology doubles in capacity and performance over a short period of time. We will discuss how humans can be educated to better exploit technologies, such as AI, drones, and novel data analytics techniques, in fast-moving, asymmetric environments.

Topics:

  • Organizations that are exploiting emerging and disruptive technologies
  • The relationship between exponential technologies and force multiplication
  • Applied analytics techniques that accelerate the OODA loop
  • Applied zero trust approaches used to secure today’s diverse IT environment
  • Meeting the educational needs of today’s technicians in disruptive, asymmetric environments
  • Hands-on, practical approaches to the non-linear educational needs for today’s technical and cybersecurity workers

CompTIA will be raffling off one $250 Amazon gift card for those who participate for the entire session. In addition, CompTIA intends to make a donation to a Maui Relief Fund.
