Profile

Mauro is an Associate Professor at the University of Ferrara where he teaches the Computer Networks class for the Computer Science Engineering course. His research interests include IT service management, wireless and MANET communications, and advanced industrial automation.

Mauro is also a long-time Open Source evangelist who co-founded the Ferrara Linux User Group in 1999. He contributed to quite a few Open Source projects and has also been the maintainer of GNU Wget for a couple of years. He currently develops in Ruby and R. Using Vim.
