Profile

Angela Smith serves as the Sr. Advisor for Cybersecurity, Risk, and Resilience within GSA's Office of Mission Assurance and provides leadership in the development and implementation of a GSA-wide cyber-supply chain risk management program. She has over twenty years of Federal service and broad experience and capabilities across a spectrum of disciplines, spanning cybersecurity, cloud computing, data quality and standards, enterprise architecture and acquisition management. Angela is actively engaged in numerous Government-wide initiatives and committees focused on addressing National Security concerns, strengthening the Government's cybersecurity posture, and reducing risk. She is the Government co-chair of two of the DHS Cyber-Supply Chain Risk Management Task Force working groups and also co-chairs the Software and Supply Chain Assurance Forum. She is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional, holds a Masters in Public Administration with a concentration in Information Technology policy from George Mason University, and is a veteran of the US Air Force.
