Profile
Dr James (Jody) Neel is the Senior Technologist for Federated Wireless and PI for their federal R&D efforts. He designed the scenarios for DARPA SC2, led Federated’s SSPARC efforts to demonstrate in-band coordinated LTE spectrum sharing with phased-array radars, and designed a system to identify and notify operators of interference sources under RFIMS. The former chair of the WINNF Cognitive Radio Work Group, contributor to CBRS, a 2012 GAP 50 Entrepreneur, and recipient of 5 spectrum sharing paper awards, Jody is the technical lead for Federated on SATR, which adapts and extends the commercial SAS for management of tactical networks.
