Program Manager
MIT Innovation Initiative – Mission Innovation Lab
Profile
Katy Person is the Program Manager for the Mission Innovation Lab at the MIT Innovation Initiative where she examines innovation ecosystems across the defense sector. Formerly, she served at the Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center; Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisitions, Logistics and Technology - Forward; the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defense, and the 10th Mountain Division. She has two Bronze Star Medals and tours in Afghanistan, Guantanamo and South Korea. Katy holds a Masters in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School, a Masters in Business Administration from Webster University and a Bachelors of Arts from Purdue University.
