Roger Teague is vice president of Space, Intelligence, and Missile Defense for
Boeing Government Operations, based in Arlington, Va. In this role, he leads
Government Operations activities, including core and adjacent business growth, in the
areas of satellite and space systems, intelligence, integrated missile defense and cyberinformation
systems. He is the principal liaison between government and military
customers with The Boeing Company’s Space and Launch Systems division.
Teague joined The Boeing Company in August 2017 following 31 years of
distinguished service in the United States Air Force, retiring in the rank of Major
General. His service spanned a broad range of assignments primarily acquiring,
operating and supporting space systems.
Teague commanded at the squadron, group and wing levels, and served on the
staffs at Headquarters Air Force Space Command and Headquarters United States Air
Force. He commanded the 4th Space Operations Squadron, Schriever AFB, Colorado,
where he led his unit during launch and activation of three Milstar communications
satellites. Teague also commanded the Space-Based Infrared Systems (SBIRS) Space
Group and the SBIRS Wing, leading development, launch, and activation of the final
Defense Support Program satellite, the first two SBIRS polar-orbiting payloads, and the
first SBIRS geosynchronous satellite. In his last assignment, Teague served as Director,
Space Programs in the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Acquisition at the Pentagon,
where he directed development and purchasing on space programs to Air Force major
commands, product centers and laboratories, and represented Air Force positions to
Headquarters U.S. Air Force, the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Congress, and the
White House.
