U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM)
The U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM), Aberdeen, Proving Ground, Maryland, plays a key role in the life-cycle support of the communications-electronics systems and equipment they carry. Its mission is to develop, provide, integrate and sustain C4ISR readiness to enable unified land operations. A major component of the U.S. Army Materiel Command, CECOM is a leading force in the establishment and optimization of the Army’s C4ISR Materiel Enterprise and C4ISR Center of Excellence. Together, these organizations acquire, develop, provide, field and sustain world-class C4ISR systems and battle command capabilities for the joint warfighter.
