Profile

Timothy Clyde serves as the Lead Systems Engineer (LSE) for NSA’s external identity solutions and service offerings. This portfolio of services includes Digital Rights Management, Data Policy, Entitlements Management, Authorization, Public Key Encryption, and Multi-Factor Authentication. As the LSE for the Agencies Identity, Credentialing, and Access Management (ICAM) efforts in the Department of Defense space, he is focused on solutions that provide Person Entity, Non Person Entities, and Data Object enterprise identities with the necessary levels of assurance to make real time Authorization decisions. This Triad of Identities provides the necessary information to make the Policy Decisions that govern access to Department of Defense (DOD) resources.
Prior to this role, Mr. Clyde served as the Technical Lead for the DOD’s Token Management System, where he was responsible for managing the requirements process and development cycles leading to the systems successful fielding. He spent seven years working directly with the stakeholders to understand the various use cases and requirements across the Combatant Commands, Services, and Agencies in the identity space. He spent the preceding decade in the Enterprise Information Technology Operations space, supporting multiple customers concurrently in the Intelligence Community and private sectors.
