Wolter holds three B.S. degrees from William Jennings Bryan College. Prior to joining Citigroup, he was employed by Florida Coast Bank as a Vice President, Barnett Banks of South Florida as the Director of ATM Security, Hollywood Federal Savings Bank as Director of Security and Capital Bank as Vice President/Director of Security Services. His experience covers internal and external white-collar crime case investigations, law enforcement liaison, disaster recovery management, perimeter and interior security, executive protection, internal security training, software development and new security product engineering and integration.
At Citigroup he is the Global Chief Technology Officer for Citigroup Security and Investigative Services. His group is responsible for providing technology support to over 700 employees globally in 106 countries. His directives are to provide a fully interactive case management system, which includes deep dive cognitive analytics, geo-spatial analytics with a predictive analytic interface, open architecture COGNOS reporting systems and reach back command capabilities for worldwide crisis management. He is also responsible for the CSIS Technology Lab where new cutting edge technologies are tested and determination made for applicable utilization within the Citigroup environment, management of all Security Technology installed globally which includes access control systems, CCTV systems, alarm systems and interfacing with the Citigroup Fusion Cyber Center. He also serves as Chairman of the CSIS Global CTO Council.
Wolter is a Certified Fraud Examiner, a Certified Financial Security Services Professional and a Certified Protection Professional. He has presented at several ASIS Annual Meetings, Metro Dade Crime Workshop, Florida West Coast Financial Institution Security Officer Association, Palm Beach Economic Crime Unit Seminar, Florida Bankers Association Seminars, ASIS Region XIII Seminar, ASIS Florida West Coast Chapter Seminar’s, Dade County Financial Institutions Security Association Seminar, International Association of Credit Card Investigators Seminar, ISC West and East Exhibits/Seminars, several National Biometric Summits and National Biometric Consortiums.
He is a life member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, a member of the Institute of Certified Bankers, Past President and Chairman of the Financial Institution Security Association, Past Director of the Metro Economic Crime Unit, Past President of the Broward Economic Crime Association, American Society for Industrial Security International serving as Region XIII Vice President, Chapter Chairman ASIS Florida West Coast Chapter, a Past President of the Florida Junior Chamber of Commerce, Past National Vice President of the United States Junior Chamber of Commerce and Past Chairman of the South Florida Chapter for the March of Dimes Birth Defects Foundation.
The most important aspect of his life is his wife, their four children and grandchildren.
