Profile

Stanley Lagrenade currently serves as a Project Manager in the Advanced Recognition Systems division in NEC’s Washington, D.C. office. Stanley has over 8 years of experience in managing software projects and client delivery in the music industry, education sector, and federal government. At NEC, Stanley is responsible for the delivery of NEC’s facial recognition products in both the Aviation and Federal sectors.

Before his time at NEC, Stanley served as a Business Analyst at Sound Exchange in Washington, D.C. There he worked with music executives from major record labels and publishers to capture technical requirements to help build a software platform to allow artists to collect royalties from non-interactive streaming services.

From 2015-2017, Stanley served as an Agile Program Manager at Decision Lens. There he was involved in defining business requirements and oversaw the development of Decision Lens’s strategic decision making software called, Decision Lens.

From 2011-2015, Stanley served as a Sr. Analyst at Hobsons, a software company that developed K-12 student lifecycle management software for the education sector. There he worked in the Higher Ed division and was responsible for gathering technical requirements for system integrations and implementations at client sites.

Stanley holds a BA in Sociology and a Master’s in Public Policy from Georgetown University. Stanley served as a three year captain on the track team and a board member of the Student Athlete Advisory committee during his time at Georgetown. He returned to his alma mater after his stint as a student athlete where he served as an assistant coach for three years. During that time, Stanley helped coach several All-Americans, Big East champions, and guide Georgetown to several top finishes in the Big East. Stanley currently resides in Washington, DC. Although he proudly sports the Washington Nationals red and white, he’s still a proud New Yorker and Yankees fan!
