    • Legal and policy considerations factor heavily into government and industry uses of biometric and other identity-related technologies. Lawyers, as a result, constitute as an important stakeholder in the field of biometrics and identity. The panelist examine the role of legal professionals in the development, deployment, and oversight of identity-related programs and technologies, while considering the legal issues that may arise from use of identity information and technology in the near and far future.
