Profile

Major Elias S. Kortabani is the Collaborative Partner Environment Lead at USCENTCOM J6. He was commissioned into the U.S. Army in 2008 after completing Officer Candidate School at Fort Benning, GA. He is a graduate of the Signal Basic and Advanced Course, Information Systems Management Course, and Command and General Staff College.

Prior to his arrival at USCENTCOM, he was the 516th Signal Brigade Cyber Security Manager at Fort Shafter, HI. His previous assignments include Systems Branch Chief for the Regional Cyber Center Pacific, Chief of Regional Network Operation and Security Center - Afghanistan (RNOSC-A) for the 25th Signal Battalion at Bagram Air Base, Cyber Security Manager for the United States Army Africa (USARAF) at Camp Ederle, Italy. He also served in various roles to include Platoon Leader and Training Officer while supporting the 72d Expeditionary Signal Battalion’s mission in Germany and forward deployed into Iraq.
