Profile

Mike Saxton is the director of Booz Allen's adversary-informed defense business and leads the federal threat hunt and digital forensics and incident response (DFIR) team. As a cyber expert with more than 20 years of experience, Mike has led and worked on multiple programs across various client spaces focused on improving security operations, incident response, and forensics. Mike rejoined Booz Allen in 2019. In his earlier tenure at the firm, he was a deputy program manager for the U.S. Army's Global Security Operations Center. Mike has established and rebuilt multiple cybersecurity programs and developed first-of-a-kind, innovative approaches to rapid detection and response to cyber threats. In addition, he has helped clients establish their cybersecurity strategy and vision. Mike has also served as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Georgetown University. Mike holds an M.S. in cybersecurity from the University of Dallas and a B.A. in intelligence studies from American Military University. He is certified as an information security manager (CISM).
