COL Aaron Banner is married to Melissa J. Banner of Raleigh NC, and both are graduates of Appalachian State University, Boone NC. COL Banner completed his Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Technology in 1998 and holds a Master of Science Degree in Telecommunication Management from University of Maryland University College, a Master of Arts Degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College, and a Master of Strategic Studies Degree from the U.S. Army War College.
