MAJ Tuni Masi is a serving British Army officer serving as a Special Projects lead within the Cyber Battle Lab, Fort Gordon, part of UK/USA Military Personnel Exchange Program.
MAJ Masi commissioned from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in 2005. Initial regimental appointments as a Troop Commander in a Gurkha Signal Squadron were followed by Platoon Command in a Light Infantry unit and Adjutant of a Strategic Communications Regiment. These kept him operationally busy across the globe during the early stages of his career. At staff his knowledge, skills and experience have been dedicated to developing technical capabilities in the Joint environment for operationally focused units held at extremely high readiness. Prior to joining the Cyber Battle Lab, he Commanded 246 Gurkha Signal Squadron, deploying troops in support of NATO’s Enhanced Forward Presence in the Eastern part of the Alliance.
A Chartered Engineer, he holds a BEng (Hons) in Environmental Engineering and an MSc in Information Capability Management. He has also completed several professional qualifications throughout his career in P3M, risk management and cyber security.
MAJ Masi is accompanied on their American adventure by his wife and two young boys.
