Diego Laje is a SIGNAL Media senior reporter and is an award-winning journalist with experience as a war correspondent. He has worked with CNN as a business and economics correspondent and as a bureau manager and senior field producer. Before joining SIGNAL, Diego served as the international correspondent and assistant executive producer with La Nacion. Additionally, Diego has published articles in The Washington Post, with CNN International and Al Jazeera Impact, among others.
Diego has earned one news and documentary Emmy award for outstanding morning programming in Spanish with Café CNN-CNN en Espanol and a nomination for CNN’s coverage of Typhoon Haiyan. He speaks Spanish, Mandarin, French, Portuguese and Italian.
