Victoria Washington is the Founder, Chief Executive Officer, and President of Vision Information Technology Consultants (Vision IT) located in San Antonio, Texas. Vision IT is a Woman OwnedSmall Business federal contractor that provides engineers and technical professional services across the US. Victoria leads the wholistic view of the organization by owning the corporate vision, providing the proper resources, building a culture, and being a good financial steward.

Since the inception of organization in 2003, Victoria has led Vision IT to win and sustain several multi-year contracts across the Department of Defense and Intelligence Agencies across the United States and abroad. She was responsible for the organization’s increase development and expansion in growth and was instrumental in growing the revenue by 25% year over year for the last three years.

Victoria started her career as an intern with the Central Intelligence Agency in 1998, and after graduating from college joined the Agency full-time as an engineer. In September 2001, she joined Creative Technologies Incorporated as a government contractor software engineer where she quickly became known as a leader with technical depth and breadth. During her career, she has held various engineering and leadership positions and has served in key corporate executive roles, including Chief Operations Officer for Incisive Technology, Inc.

Victoria received her bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics from her beloved Grambling State University (Grambling, LA). She earned her master’s degree in Systems Engineering from George Mason University (Fairfax, VA), and while attending George Mason, she also obtained her certification in Command, Control, Communication, and Intelligence (C3I).

Victoria believes that it is imperative to give time and financial support to the educational development of the underserved populations to STEM futures. She is passionate about entrepreneurship and encouraging women in the workforce, and as a result she has pioneered a women’s professional networking platform called Women with Vision. Victoria serves on the board of directors for EAST Initiative, a non-profit that focuses on providing an environment for youth that fosters relevant, individualized life-changing experience through service and technology. She also serves on the board of directors for Ransomed Life, a non-profit that equips and empowers exploited youth to experience freedom and purpose after trauma.

Victoria holds membership with C12, a faith driven, result-minded CEO business forum. She is a member of the Alamo Chapter of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA), and the San Antonio Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. She is an active member of Community Bible Church and serves as a co-leader for the Women in the Word small group.

Victoria has been recognized as the Small Business Person of the Year for Arkansas in 2017 by the Small Business Administration. In 2021, Vision IT was named Small Business of the Year by Alamo chapter of AFCEA under her leadership. And in 2022, AFCEA International presented Victoria with the Women’s Appreciation Award in San Diego.
