Nancy Patel is currently Vice President of Public Sector at Immuta, a leader in cloud data access control with expertise in engineering, security, ethics and law. With more than two decades of experience in cybersecurity, data analytics and the public sector, Nancy is an industry veteran who also brings extensive experience in software development and systems engineering.

Innovation is a top priority for Nancy in her role at Immuta, where she works to modernize data analytics for the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community. Notable highlights of Nancy’s work include reducing risk surrounding data and analytics, helping agencies remove data silos that hindered their team’s abilities, and utilizing advanced auditing and reporting for government IT.

In her role, she deploys industry best practices to expand Immuta’s capacity and ensure its public sector customers receive the best support, guidance and delivery possible to meet their data governance needs. Her expertise has helped grow Immuta’s public sector team by 800% and increased annual recurring revenue by 44% in 2021. She has also been at the forefront of diversity and inclusion at Immuta where she launched the Women of Immuta Network and Coffee Roulette.

Prior to Immuta, Nancy was President of Vulnerability Research Labs, LLC. There, she helped grow the firm’s revenue and operating income through mission-critical products and extensive research and development investments.

Nancy has also held roles at Lockheed Martin, serving as software and systems engineer, project manager, customer relations manager and deputy program manager. There, she provided cost, technical and schedule oversight for a team of more than 80 technical and project managers.

Nancy received her Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Master of Business Administration from the University of Kentucky. She also earned a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from The George Washington University.

At home in the Washington D.C. area, Nancy loves spending quality time with her three kids. She is also devoted to empowering women working in technology and national security.
