Profile

Mr. Edward J. Rocksvold is the International Team Lead in the Spectrum Planning Division of DISA Defense Spectrum Organization (DSO) . He is responsible for the development of DoD strategies and positions related to satellite coordination and spectrum management in preparation for and engagement in International Telecommunications Union (ITU) meetings And the World Radiocommunication Conference (WRC). Mr. Rocksvold also serves as the project lead for DSO’s visualization initiatives.

A retired U.S. Air Force Spectrum Manager and Electronics Technician, Mr. Rocksvold served in a variety of communications and spectrum management-related positions. After military retirement, Mr. Rocksvold spent seven years in industry supporting multiple DISA programs and the National Security Agency Spectrum Services Office. He returned to Federal service in 2009, holding positions in DISA DSO, including DSO Requirements Manager and his current position as International Team Lead where he led the DoD coordination for and served on two WRC delegations as a DoD advisor to the U.S. Ambassador.
