Profile

Stephanie M. Watt is the Chief, Cyber Controls Section for the Defense Information Systems Agency
(DISA) Ecosystem Cyber Line of Business (LOB). She is responsible for developing and maintaining DISA’s organizational and system-level cybersecurity programs which include cybersecurity architecture, requirements, objectives, policies, cybersecurity personnel, and cybersecurity processes and procedures. As lead Subject Matter Expert, Ms. Watt supports senior executives, division chiefs and other branch chiefs in developing, integrating and deploying
IT projects and Risk Management Framework (RMF). She is extensively experienced with Command Cyber Readiness Inspections (CCRI), Inspector General (IG) inspections, AT 801(SSAE16) financial audits and Internal Management Control Programs.
Ms. Watt first began her IT career with the United States Air Force in 1997. After serving in Aviano, Italy and Eglin AFB, Florida, she separated from the military but continued to support defense operations as a Secure Network Administrator with Sentel Corporation. In October
2003, she accepted a position with Unisys Corporation as an Information Assurance Officer with DISA, and moved to Prattville, Alabama where she currently resides. Ms. Watt was sworn into federal service with DISA in February, 2005, and has since pioneered successful strategies in
Information Assurance, Enterprise Storage and Backup Administration, UNIX and Database Administration, and Enterprise Tools Management.
Ms. Watt is a Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM) and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Troy University, and an MBA in Project Management with Capella University. She is married with two daughters, one son, and one grandson.
