Dr. Sarbari Gupta is the Founder and CEO of Electrosoft, a provider of technology-based services and solutions serving federal civilian and defense customers since 2001. Dr. Gupta has been active in the information security industry for over twenty years and is a widely recognized expert in digital identity and access management, cybersecurity risk management and cloud security. She holds PhD, MS and B.Tech degrees in Electrical Engineering and CISSP and CISA certifications.
Dr. Gupta is a frequent speaker at industry conferences on cybersecurity topics and has authored over forty technical papers/presentations on leading edge topics and holds four patents in areas of cryptography. She is a named co-author of several NIST Special Publications (SP) including SP 800-63-4: Digital Identity Guidelines; SP 800-157: Guidelines for Derived PIV Credentials; and SP 800-128: Guide for Security-Focused Configuration Management of Information Systems and the NIST Cybersecurity White Paper “Establishing Confidence in IoT Device Security: How do we get there?” As a member of the highly respected AFCEA Cyber Committee (https://www.afcea.org/about-afcea/committees/cyber-committee,) she helps to strengthen AFCEA’s role as the association’s principal cyber advocate and resource.
