Profile

Mr. Deondray Wesley is a distinguished professional with over two decades of experience in both military and civil service roles within the Department of Defense (DoD). He holds a Master of Science degree in Information Systems from Hawaii Pacific University and is currently pursuing his doctorate at George Washington University's Executive Leadership Program.

Prior to his role with the DoD CIO C3, Mr. Wesley dedicated five years to the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, specifically in the N2/N6 department. In this capacity, he served as the principal requirements manager and resource sponsor for military narrowband satellite communications (SATCOM). Additionally, Mr. Wesley spent three years with the USINDOPACOM J6, where he was responsible for overseeing the planning, management, and advocacy of teleport/gateway and commercial SATCOM resources throughout the USINDOPACOM area of operations. His exceptional performance in the OPNAV N2/N6 department earned him the prestigious Meritorious Civilian Service Medal, presented by VADM Matthew Kholer, Deputy Chief of Naval Operations for Information Warfare.

Upon completing his OPNAV assignment, Mr. Wesley transitioned to the DoD CIO C3 team as the lead for tactical and public safety communications in the realm of information technology. In this role, he actively manages a diverse portfolio of projects, focusing on the development of DoD strategy, policy, and the supervision of IT investments to enhance the performance of joint forces.

In addition to his civil service accomplishments, Mr. Wesley has an impressive 11-year military background in the U.S. Air Force. Throughout his tenure, he held various roles and positions that honed his expertise in space and SATCOM operations, as well as policy development. With his extensive knowledge and experience, Deondray Wesley continues to make significant contributions to the Department of Defense and the nation.
