Corey Hawkins

Deputy, Global Service Desk

Profile

Mr. Hawkins currently serves as the Deputy of the Global Service Desk for Defense Information System Agency. In this position, he provides support to warfighters, military components, mission partners, and other federal agencies with a single entry point for service desk support.

Previously, he served as a Global Service Desk Operations Branch Chief that included responsibility for providing Tier I agents and Tier II desktop support to 38 field sites and DISA Headquarters (HQ). He gained professional experience working with DISA, the United States Marine Corps, the United States Army, and by direct participation in combat operations around the globe.

He has also served in other various roles to include the Defense Enterprise Computer Center (DECC) Oklahoma City Operations Division Chief, Branch Chief over the Enterprise Email Operating System, Branch Chief over the Microsoft Operating System Branch, DISA Customer Management Engineer, and as an Exchange Administer.

Mr. Hawkins deployed with the Defense Security Cooperation Agency under the Ministry of Defense Advisors Program, (MODA), as the Chief of Staff for the Essential Function 5.1 Operational Sustainment and Logistics Directorate. This encompassed the over mission of advise, train, and assist Afghan Ministries of Interior and Defense and the individual Train Advise and Assist Commands (TAACs) to build logistical and maintenance capacity and capability in the fields of logistics and maintenance; medical; and information, communication and technology. The overall mission supported the Combined Security Transition Command-Afghanistan (CSTC-A), United States Forces-Afghanistan from 2016 to 2017.

Mr. Hawkins served four years active duty in the United States Marine Corps stationed at Camp Pendleton, CA. and seven years as a Communications Warrant Officer in the Oklahoma Army National Guard.
