Michelle Lee is the Director of Threat Intelligence at Lumen’s Black Lotus Labs, the threat research arm of Lumen Technologies. She leads a group of malware reverse engineers, security researchers, and data scientists specializing in detecting, tracking, and disrupting threats across the internet to help protect Lumen and its customers. She draws on her deep experience building operational teams that leverage insights from large data sets to save lives and protect critical networks.
Before her role at Black Lotus Labs, Michelle specialized in machine learning and graph analytics, consulting with organizations from the Department of Defense to large hospital systems. She has built and deployed machine learning and other models to detect anomalies and hunt advanced threat actors to protect some of the world’s most critical networks.
