Profile

Shurronne Young Davis is accountable for cybersecurity strategy and technical operations management. She provides cybersecurity leadership and technical direction to security operations across Peraton’s business units. As CISO, she oversees the implementation of NextGen operational platforms and is responsible for enterprise security efforts across the organization, ensuring the external threat environment for emerging vulnerabilities is minimized and mitigated.

Ms. Young Davis assesses, leads, and executes plans to promote enterprise security capabilities for sustainability and industry competitiveness. In this role, Ms. Young Davis defines and drives overall strategic direction for cybersecurity and engineering operations, including championing performance outcomes, enterprise process development and deployment for mission partners. Overseeing complex engineering and IT programs and supporting over 700,000 digital footprints across 2,000 locations, Ms. Young Davis thinks and acts globally. She works with senior leadership on enterprisewide efforts to improve cybersecurity, a capability borne of 25+ years of expertise.

Prior to her current role, Ms. Young Davis oversaw and directed design architecture and engineering. She delivered enterprise-wide security services and managing direct $70M operating budget, ensuring sustainable information systems and IT compliance and operational integrity. She led a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team of architects, engineers, SMEs, and program managers whose mission was developing and delivering enterprise–level, integrated and premier security solutions. Ms. Young Davis brings extensive technical knowledge of network applications, enterprise infrastructure, IT processes and systems integration to bear, including demonstrated technical expertise working across multiple levels. She demonstrated the ability to repeatedly drive effective partnerships in designing collaborative, innovative solutions for global missions.

Prior to Defense CISO, Senior Director and Chief Enterprise Architect selections, Ms. Young Davis served as Chief Information Architect at General Dynamics Information Technology supporting the Intelligence Solutions Division, Senior Technical Advisor with Northrop Grumman Information Technology leading Global Strategic Operations and National Intelligence business units, and Senior National Operations Manager at TASC National Security Solutions Operations, Senior Intelligence Researcher at ANSER, National Intelligence Officer with US Government, and MIT Research Scientist and Fellow.
