For large projects, no one person or team can possibly assimilate the large volume of data, the myriad relationships, connections, and interdependencies, and the knowledge needed to predict errors, assess and determine proper courses of action, all in a timely manner. For this reason, organizations are turning to AI and machine learning (AI/ML). However, these technologies alone rarely provide sufficient insight into the underlying causes and conditions which give rise to the data, along with the proper corrective actions to be taken.
This presentation describes a next-generation project management system which combines human and machine intelligence in ways that result in more efficient and effective problem identification, prevention, and resolution, along with better resource allocation, prioritization, and utilization, especially of human capital. Initial test results based on historical data obtained from eighteen projects will be presented.
