olonel Ronnie E. Geronimo was born in Olongapo, Philippines. He is a graduate of New Mexico Military Institute with an Associate in Business Management, California State University, San Marcos with a Bachelor of Science in High Technology Management; Webster University with a Masters in Cybersecurity and Eisenhower School, National Defense University with a Masters in National Security and Resource Strategy.

His assignments include: Telecommunications Officer for G6, 25th Infantry Division (Light), Schofield Barracks, Hawaii; Executive Officer for Bravo Company, 125th Signal Battalion, Helemano Military Reservation, Hawaii; Battalion Signal Officer for 1-14th Infantry Battalion, 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team (IBCT), Tuz, Iraq and Schofield Barracks, Hawaii; Squadron Signal Officer for 5-14th Cavalry Squadron, 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii; Company Commander for 556th Stryker Brigade Signal Company, 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, Kirkuk, Iraq and Schofield Barracks, Hawaii; Plans and Exercise Officer for United States Army Pacific, G6, Fort Shafter, Hawaii; Current Operations Officer for 516th Strategic Theatre Signal Brigade, Fort Shafter, Hawaii; Operations Officer (S-3) for 307th Expeditionary Signal Battalion (ESB), 516th Strategic Theater Signal Brigade, Helemano Military Reservation, Hawaii; Plans Officer for 1st Tactical Theatre Signal Brigade, 311th Signal Command, Yongsan Garrison, Seoul, Korea; Deputy Commander for the Presidential Communications Command, White House Communications Agency; Current Operations Division Chief for the White House Communications Agency, Director of Operations (J-3) for White House Communications Agency, Washington, D.C.; Deputy G6 for America’s First Corps, JBLM; Division G6 for the 7th Infantry Division, JBLM and serves currently as the Director of Communications for Special Operations Command Pacific.

His awards include the Bronze Star (1 OLC), Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (3 OLC), Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Korea Defense Service Medal, Presidential Support Badge and Combat Action Badge.

COL Geronimo is married to the former Jill Shiraishi of Hilo, Hawaii and together they have two children: Jakob and Lauren.
