Brigadier General Meisler graduated LaSalle University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1994, commissioning as a Second Lieutenant through the Reserve Officer Training Corps. He began his career as an Armor Platoon Leader with the 2nd Infantry Division at Camp Casey, South Korea. Brigadier General Meisler transitioned to the U.S. Army Reserve in 1999.
Brigadier General Meisler assumed command of the 311th Signal Command (Theater) at Fort Shafter, Hawaii on 15 July 2022. Brigadier General Meisler has commanded at all levels to include Commanding General, 4th Expeditionary Sustainment Command in JBSA Fort Sam Houston, Texas, Group Commander, 211th Regional Support Group in Corpus Christi, Texas; Battalion Commander, 257th Transportation Battalion (Movement Control) in Gainesville, Florida and Bagram, Afghanistan; Battalion Commander, 2d Battalion, 485th Regiment in Orlando, Florida; Company Commander, A Company, 2d Battalion, 485th Regiment in Jacksonville, Florida; and Commander, HHD, 5th Brigade (Health Services), 108th Division (Institutional Training) in Jacksonville, Florida.

Brigadier General Meisler is an Army Logistician with the Joint Planner and Operational Contract Support skill identifiers. He is a member of the Transportation Corps Regimental Association and was awarded the Ancient Order of Saint Christopher. He has a Master of Art in Management from Webster University; St. Louis, Missouri and a Master of Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College; Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
Brigadier General Meisler’s awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, Defense Meritorious Service Medal (with one Oak Leaf Cluster), Meritorious Service Medal (with eight Oak Leaf Clusters), the Army Commendation Medal (with five Oak Leaf Clusters), the Army Achievement Medal (with one Oak Leaf Cluster), the Joint Meritorious Unit Award, the Meritorious Unit Commendation Award (2nd Award), the Parachutist Badge and the Air Assault Badge.
Brigadier General Meisler resides in Jacksonville, Florida with his wife Philomena and they have four children: Mackenzie, Ryan, Abbey and Sean. He is a Product Delivery Manager with Deloitte Consulting and works with Naval Air Depot Maintenance Systems. BG Meisler is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
