Michael Young is a Principal Solutions Architect for Elastic supporting the Army, Navy, and Marine Corps. He has provided operational support to the federal government in various contracting and consulting roles over the last 23 years. His roles have covered everything from technical writing and training to system administration, software development (including a stint as a product manager), and solutions architecture. Michael's focus has been on the Big Data and Information Retrieval domains over the last ten years. Michael is prior-service active-duty Army who served seven years as a DoD certified Korean linguist in Military Intelligence.
