Profile

Norman Leach is Program Manager in the Cross Domain Solutions, Operations, and Innovation Section at the Air Force Research Laboratory, Information Directorate, in Rome, NY. The laboratory conducts research, development, test and evaluation, and provides acquisition management services and logistics support necessary to keep Air Force weapons systems ready for war. Mr. Leach manages a multi-million dollar software development effort to support Top Secret/SCI security accreditation, information assurance, and network management requirements for the Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community. He manages the Commercial Cloud Program Office that currently oversees the Operational DevSecOps for ISR NEXGEN (ODIN) project which has developed and delivered accredited security solutions to support entities to include: ACC, AFRL, USSF, AFDCGS, ABMS, SPACE CAMP, AF/A8, Big Safari, 11th SOIS, and AFSOC.

Mr. Leach graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1998 and started his civil service career with the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) as a Computer Engineer. He’s a Level III certified acquisition professional in System Planning Research Development and Engineering (SPRD&E).
