Michael Gudaitis, Air Force Research Laboratory, Principal Engineer for Airborne Data Link Systems. He has 42 years experience in research, development, engineering, integration and testing of military and commercial communications systems with significant contributions in Software Defined
Radio (SDR) and advanced airborne data links. He has served in military, commercial, and government positions, as an engineer, supervisor, and manager, and has received various awards and recognition throughout his career for outstanding professionalism and accomplishments. He brings a unique multi-discipline perspective on lessons learned, opportunities, and technology trends that drive innovation and continue to shape the SDR community. Research interests include advanced waveform development, airborne data links, tactical networking emulation, and assured tactical communications.

Education: BSEE from North Carolina State University, MSEE from University of Massachusetts, and a MSCS from Air Force Institute of Technology, Ohio.
