Profile
Dr. Jan Nilsson is deputy research director at FOI. He has a Ph.D. in Data transmission (1994). Since 1994 he has been with FOI (Swedish Research Agency) and worked as project manager and with many different topics, in particular, topics for tactical communications and ad hoc networks of various kinds. During the last 10 years the research has mainly been focused on design principles for wireless ad hoc networks, in particular, issues related to QoS, medium access control and routing.
