Profile

Steve Silverman has a PhD in Theoretical Physics from the Stevens Institute of Technology. He has worked in Industry and Academia for over 35 years. He was employed at Bell Labs from 1985 to 2001. Then at The University of California at Irvine from 2000 to 2004, now at UCLA in the Systems Engineering Department. . He has worked at Raytheon in their Advanced Projects Group mostly in the area of Modeling and Simulation. Currently he is a Model Based Systems Engineer Lead Engineer at Booz Allen Hamilton. His research interests include Regge Calculus, Cellular Automata and Cyber Intrusion Detection, quantum games theory applied to tactical radio links, quantum computing and Kernel Optimization, He holds two patents on Quantum Computing.
