Yemaya Bordain drives global sales for the Internet of Things Group Public Segment sector at Intel Corporation. In her role, Yemaya enables advanced technologies in aerospace, defense, and government. Yemaya’s expertise includes safety-critical avionics systems and vision-based edge analytics in defense applications. Prior to joining Intel, Yemaya became the first female, African-American to earn the Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Yemaya holds two patents, both in the field of nanotechnology, and has co-authored a peer-reviewed publication on advanced materials for spaceflight applications.
