  • Ping Identity Federation Hub
Bring Fragmented Identity Ecosystems Together With a Federation Hub. A FEDERATION HUB BREAKS DOWN AUTHENTICATION SILOS To enable interoperable trust across the government and modernize ICAM systems, agencies can employ identity federation, which breaks down silos between user stores and authentication systems to enable users in multiple organizations to access the same networks, applications, and resources with one set of credentials. A robust, standards-based federation hub can bridge older authentication sources and multiple standards, including the X.509 standard that powers certificates at the center of PKI authenticators. It can integrate with legacy and modern applications, third-party authentication sources, diverse user directories, and existing identity and access management systems. With enterprise-wide SSO, a federation hub extends agency resources to mission partners for secure collaboration on joint initiatives. A federation hub also integrates with any application, so all applications across the environment can go directly to a single federation hub to confirm the user’s identity and grant access. The result is secure enterprise-wide SSO. A federation hub can extend to mission partners for secure collaboration on joint initiatives. Partners can securely access an agency’s resources, even when the partner’s authentication methods differ from the agency’s....

  • Ping Identity Attribute-Based Access Control
Attribute-based access control (ABAC) is a flexible approach to enable fine-grained authorization decisions for a requester (end entity/user) and a targeted resource/data/object. Each requester and resource has a set of associated attributes. These could include persistent attributes stored within a directory or contextual attributes such as time of request, type of multi-factor authenticator, device information, etc. Ping Identity provides several products that can work together to enable and enforce ABAC. These products can be deployed independently, or in combination, as they are built around open-standards technology. This allows organizations to leverage the components necessary to augment existing investments to enable identity credential and access management (ICAM) modernization. These controls can be leveraged across an organiza- tion’s footprint, including mobile, desktop, and web applications, and can be enforced through standards-based federation protocols, including SAML and OIDC, through header-based URL controls, and within the API layer. Supported Deployments Methods: • FedRAMP High, DOD IL5 SaaS • Private Cloud • On-premises • Hybrid (on premises & cloud/hosted) • DDIL • Air-Gapped, or network-segmented environments ...
